TERMS Of SALE

 

Below is an outline of the terms of sale on our miniature, midi and regular Texas Longhorns, Quarter Horses, miniature donkeys and goats.  Please take a look and make sure you are agreeable to these terms before entering into a transaction to purchase any of our animals.

 

No checks accepted with no exceptions.  We DO NOT accept Checks, Postal Money Orders, Cashiers Checks or use Western Union or Money Gram because of scammers.  Please check with me for specific prices on any animals that you are interested in purchasing.  A deposit of 50% is required to hold an animal until weaned or ready for pick up.

 

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE unless we cannot supply the animal to you at the specified pick up date.  The buyer must pick up the animal within 5 days of the "date available for pick up."  If you cannot pick up the animal with the agreed time period, but still want the animal, then an additional boarding charge of $3 a day per animal will be added onto the price of the animal and will need to be when picked up.  If you change your mind about getting the animal for whatever reason, your deposit will be forfeited.  No "time payments".  Final payment must be paid in full via cash before the animal leaves Jerusalem Ridge Ranch.

 

The reason that deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE is that we are relying on the buyer at their word that the buyer will pick the animal up on the agreed to date.  We will take the animal off our site as available for sale and often will turn down other viable offers for the animal during this time relying on your word that you will pick it up.  If the buyer does not pick up the animal that has a deposit placed on it, it puts us in a difficult position of missing other possible sales and extra expenses related to the holding that animal until a bona fide buyer buys the animal. 

 

Texas Longhorns, donkeys, horses and goats are herd animals and will NOT SURVIVE ALONE.  Please do not place an animal by itself; this is against its nature and is cruel.

 

Jerusalem Ridge Ranch will pay for registrations for BREEDING animals, if applicable. 

The buyer is responsible for the cost of transportation unless otherwise agreed upon.  IMPORTANT NOTE ON TRANSPORTATION: All animals must be picked up in an adequate, safe and comfortable vehicle.  If the buyer arrives in what Jerusalem Ridge Ranch deems is unsafe and/or unsatisfactory, Jerusalem Ridge Ranch retains the right to refuse to release the animal.

 

A veterinary Health Certificate (Optional) at cost is the responsibility of the buyer to pay for, if it is needed.  If something happens to an animal that has a deposit placed on it, the buyer has first choice to purchase any other animal for sale at the time.  Price differences will be negotiated at that time. 

 

Jerusalem Ridge Ranch is not responsible for animals after they have left our ranch.  If an animal must stay at our ranch for a certain period of time before it is picked up, we will not be responsible for anything that may happen to that animal.  However,  please note that we take the best care possible of our animals.   We care about the miniatures we breed, and so we as sellers are always available to answer any questions you may have about your new miniature. Please feel free to call or email. Purchasing an animal can be a lifetime commitment, and we wish stable permanent homes always for them. But sometimes circumstances change even for the most well meaning people.  PLEASE contact us and let us help you to find the miniature a good home. Jerusalem Ridge Ranch is always willing to take back the pup/dog, without refund and shipping cost for a certain period of time depending on the individual circumstances.
